Almost 30 years after he last rushed the ball for Heidelberg, Walter Livingston's name is still on the Ohio Athletic Conference record books.

Livingston, who owns the Livingston Chemical Co. in Downingtown, Pa., currently holds OAC records for the best average yards per carry (6.44) most touchdowns scored (58) and for the longest touchdown play by rushing (98).

A four-year letter winner in football, Livingston was a three-time All-OAC running back. He was named small college All-American and the teams most valuable player as a junior and senior in 1955 and 1956. Livingston also earned two letters each in baseball and basketball and three in track. He was the anchor man on the Heidelberg relay team which won the OAC championship in 1955.

A salesman, sales development manager and distributor specialist for the Sun Company from 1964-84, Livingston built his own petroleum business in 1984. His firm sells and markets lubricating oil and chemicals.
