A solid foundation for Heidelberg's offensive exploits on the gridiron from 1989-1992 was offensive guard Christopher Dillon, a four-year letter winner known for his lead block for the run and outstanding pass blocking.

Christopher made an immediate impact on the offensive line as a freshman, finding a spot in the starting line-up, which he never vacated, making 40 consecutive starts for his career. In 1991, as a junior, he helped set the stage for a 'Berg rushing offense that ranked second in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while its total offense was third. For his efforts, he was named to the league's second team.

His successful junior campaign earned him a spot as a preseason All-American, according to the College Preview Magazine. In 1992, Heidelberg's offense focused on Christopher's location. For his efforts, he was voted to the OAC First Team followed by earning a spot on Don Hansen's Football Gazette All-American Third Team. He was also voted Co-Most Valuable Player for Heidelberg.

In 1992, Christopher helped to guide Heidelberg to a 7-7 tie against Otterbein College in its OAC opener which was played in Frankfurt, Germany. The game between the Berg and Otterbein marked the first collegiate football game played on German soil.

Since turning in his Heidelberg uniform, Christopher remained on the football field, participating in USFTL Flag Football. He was a member of the second-place team in 2001 and the third-place team in 2000.

Born and raised in Gallipolis, Ohio, Christopher attended Gallia Academy High School, where he excelled on the gridiron. He was a two-time All-Southeastern Ohio Athletic League honoree and was named to the All-Ohio Honorable Mention list as a senior. Christopher graduated from Heidelberg in 1993 and married Natalie Talboo June 26, 1999. The Dillons currently reside in Stow, Ohio, and have three children, twins Zachary and Amelia (4) and Christian (1). Christopher is the president and owner of Carriage Group Lending, LLC.
