Track competes at Otterbein Twilight

WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University Track & Field team competed at the Otterbein University Twilight Meet. The men's team finished 9th out of 23 scored teams, with 33 points. 

SPRINTS 

Sophomore Brianna Braatz made her return in the 200m after a few weeks off from injury. Racing in the slow heat as a no mark, Braatz still finished 4th overall in a time of 25.7. 

Travis Bolden, just shy of scoring, took 10th for the men's 200m at 22.17.

MID DISTANCE

Freshman standout James Henderson won the 800m in a time of 1:54.69, clearing second at the line by .03. 

Augie Schweickert followed for a 6th place finish at 1:56.34, and Hudson Black rounded out 10th at 1:56.86. 

THROWS

Freshman Jalani Reams took 2nd in men's javelin with a throw of 54.35m. 

Amelia Lewin threw a mark of 12.14m to earn a 5th place finish in the shot put. Isabella Grennell finished just short of scoring with a throw of 10.98m.

JUMPS

Sophomore Cornell Test vaulted a mark of 4.6m to clinch a first place finish in the pole vault. 

Jesse Vanlerberg added a 7th place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 11.98m. 

In men's long jump, Korbyn Haley tied for 10th with a jump of 6.46m. 


UPCOMING

The Student Princes will be back on the track April 22-23 at the University of Mount Union for the 2026 Mount Union Classic. Field events on Wednesday will start at 2pm. Thursday field events will start at noon, with running events beginning at 2pm.
