Albion, MI – The Heidelberg University women's basketball team struggled to find an offensive rhythm against the Albion College Britons as the Student Princes dropped the non-conference clash, 75-50, on Wednesday night.
The Student Princes move to 1-3 overall, while the Britons remain unbeaten at 3-0.

Lily Sweeney finished in double figures with 11 points and 10 points respectively to lead the Berg.Â
Ratliff's 11 points came on a 3-of-6 performance from the field with three steals, two assists and two rebounds. Sweeney tallied her 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting to lead the Berg reserves and collected one steal, one assist and one rebound.
Turnovers plagued the Student Princes as the Britons registered 24 points off of Berg giveaways. The Britons finished 6-of-11 (54.5%) from three-point range, and tallied a staggering 50 points in the paint compared to the Berg's 20.
Trailing by four, 17-13 after the first quarter, the Britons heated up for a 26-point second quarter making the Berg deficit 43-23 at half. A nine-point third quarter from the tri-color made the Albion advantage was too much to erase, despite outscoring the Britons in the final frame.
Heidelberg women's basketball returns to the hardwood on Saturday, November 20 when they travel south to battle the Mount St. Joseph University.
Tipoff between the Student Princes and Lions from Cincinnati is slated for 2 p.m.
