WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Heidelberg University Cross Country teams competed at the Otterbein Invitational Friday. Both teams finished third overall.

Leading the way for the women was Addie Horner, who finished in a time of 22:42.8. 

Following close behind were Briana Westrick (22:58.85), and Emma Hintze (23:23.09).

Rounding out the top five for Heidelberg were freshmen Courage Bielawski and Lydia Ruffing. 

Blazing through the finish line, sophomore Dean Morrison ran a time of 16:36.16 to take tenth in a field of 71 runners. 

Senior Tyler Huff placed sixteenth with a time of 16:43.85.

Rounding out the top five for Heidelberg were Braden Cinato (16:59.98), Joe Brewster (17:01.17), and Thomas Katsares (17:06.65). 

The Student Princes will return to the course on Friday, the 11th at the Auto-Owners Spartan Invitational. Races will begin at 9 a.m.
