TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University Men's Soccer started the 2026 season with a scoreless draw against Hiram College on Tuesday evening. The tie avenged a 4-1 Hiram win one year ago.

Xochiel Galvan, a junior transfer, picked up his first clean sheet. The Findlay native made four saves.
Heidelberg had eight shots, but only one was on goal.
Heidelberg travels to Richmond, Ind., to take on Earlham College on Friday at 5 p.m. They return home to face Franklin College on Sunday at 2 p.m.
