MARIETTA -- The Heidelberg University Women's Basketball landed three in double figures, but fell to host Marietta College on Saturday, 102-67. The Pioneers got out to a red-hot start offensively, opening up a sizable lead early.
Tori See led with a game-high 18 points and 13 rebounds -- still building her resume for an OAC Freshman of the Year push. She was 9-of-17 from the floor.
Mya Jones added 14 points and
Brenna Williams added 11.
Emma Crow grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds.
Heidelberg had five players with at least three assists, led by
Abby Tier's four dimes.
The Student Princes played hard for all 40 minutes, outscoring Marietta in the fourth.
The Berg wraps up the campaign with two home games in the final week. Wednesday's game against nationally-ranked Baldwin Wallace marks the annual #Play4Kay cancer awareness event. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
