UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University Women's Wrestling team competed for the first time, taking to the mats at the the John Carroll Round Robin. Heidelberg had four wrestlers in action. 

In the gold division, Maggie Milbery went 3-1 at 145. She began the day with a pin of Peyton Gauss (Bethany), then added another against Madison Swartzentruber (Indiana Club).  After a loss, she closed her day with a tech fall victory against Oreal Johnson (Indiana Club).

In the open division, Audrey Miracle's run began with a pin of Sophia Torian (Ithaca) -- marking the first win in program history. Following a pair of losses, she ended her day with a tech fall win against Angelina Berry (Ithaca). She was 2-2 at 117.  

Gianna Tardibuono (145 Gold) and Alexis Satterfield (131 Open) also competed on the afternoon. 

Milbery placed third and Miracle placed fifth in their respective brackets.  

Heidelberg hosts John Carroll on Wednesday as part of a men's/women's twinbill. The men's match will start at 6 p.m., and the women will follow.
