Box Score ADA, Ohio -- A short-handed Heidelberg University women's basketball team was tripped up on the road, 67-31, at No. 14 Ohio Northern.  The Student Princes dropped to 2-13 and 0-9 in the OAC.  

The Student Princes were led by a 12-point night from Hallie Rogers.  Elisha Carter added seven.  

Both teams struggled to find their range offensively in the opening frame, combining to shoot 27% from the floor. Hallie Rogers scored all seven of Heidelberg's points in the first, which ended with her side trailing, 11-7.  

Despite five points from Elisha Carter and the first collegiate 3-pointer by Colleen Miller, Heidelberg was outscored in the second, 17-9.  

Leading 29-16 to start the third, the hosts opened the second half with a 16-5 run that widened their lead to 45-21.  They ended the third with a 48-22 advantage and went on to victory.

Facing the tenacious ONU defense, Heidelberg shot just 21.7% from the floor for the game.  

On the boards, Cheyenne Bean pulled down seven followed by Morgan Altenburger with five. 

Heidelberg returns to the road on Saturday to kick off the second half of the conference slate. The Berg visits Mount Union for a game scheduled to start at 4 p.m. following the men's game.
