Tiffin, OH – The Heidelberg University women's basketball team dropped a Tuesday night non-conference tilt to Bluffton University, 64-51.
The lose moves the Student Princes to 1-5 overall, while the Beavers improve to 2-1.
The Berg captured four-point advantage in the first frame, 14-10, but a 23-point second-quarter surge from the Beavers put the Berg behind at the break, 33-29.Â
Following the break, the tri-color battled back to cut the deficit to three, 42-45, heading into the fourth quarter. The Berg offense struggled in the final frame while a 19-point performance from Bluffton, was enough to hold off the hopes of a Berg comeback.
