Beamer started the second with a 3-pointer to regain the lead. After two buckets by the hosts, Ulmer stepped in to a triple, tying the game at 18. ONU, though, closed the half on a 14-4 run, taking a 32-22 lead into intermission.
Heidelberg turnovers in the second half allowed ONU to waltz away with the victory. In the game, ONU outscored HU 25-11 in points off turnovers.
The visitors were led by Ward, who had 12 points. ONU had 12 players score points, while Heidelberg only had five.
