Box Score BEREA -- The Heidelberg University women's lacrosse team was defeated by Baldwin Wallace University on Wednesday, 20-1. Still in search of the program's first win, HU fell to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. BW improved to 8-2, 3-0.
Dana Dudley's free position goal with 6:06 to play in the second half was the lone goal for the Student Princes. Heidelberg tallied five shots on goal -- three by Megan Mills and two by Dudley.
Defensively, Jen Kovarik and Anna Winnicki both caused two turnovers, as did Dudley. Janessa Scott made 12 saves.
The Yellow Jackets led 15-0 at halftime and enjoyed an 18-0 advantage before Dudley's goal, her 15th of the season.
Heidelberg returns to action at home on Wednesday, hosting Ohio Norhern (2-8, 1-1). Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
