TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg women's lacrosse team played their last game at home, but fell to the Polar Bears of Ohio Northern.  ONU won, 19-10. 

Sydney Shaffer, Gianna Ricci and Kelly Spence carried the team, each adding three goals apiece. 

Ricci and Shaffer each found goals in the second quarter, bringing the halftime score to 13-4.

Heidelberg had a strong second half, scoring three in each quarter. Brianna Lloyd scored her single, paired with goals from Shaffer and Ricci, getting HU back to within 10 at 17-7.

The Berg outscored the Polar Bears in the fourth, 3-2. Shaffer sandwiched a goal in between Spence's two. Spence's final goal came with 11 seconds left in the game, matching her career total of 11.

Heidelberg attempted 28 shots compared to ONU's 44 -- 15 of which Ella Lane saved in goal.

The Student Princes play their last two games of the season on the road. Saturday, they will be at Marietta with a 1 p.m. start time.
