Heidelberg Student Athlete Basic Eligibility Requirements
The academic eligibility requirements for competition at Heidelberg are:
  • To compete in your first semester at Heidelberg you must be enrolled full time in 12 hours for undergrad and 9 hours for grad students.
     
  • To compete in your second semester at Heidelberg you must be enrolled full time in 12 hours for undergrad or 9 hours for grad students. There is no minimum GPA requirement for undergrad (first year forgiveness). Grad students must meet the GPA expectation of the graduate program.
     
  • To compete in your third semester as an undergrad student at Heidelberg you must be enrolled full time, you must have passed 24 hours in the previous two full-time semesters including any summer or part-time semesters (or 12 hours per full-time semester for transfer students), with EITHER a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA OR not on probation or suspension and have seasons of competition remaining.
     
  • To compete in your fourth through tenth semesters as an undergrad student at Heidelberg you must be enrolled full time (unless you need less than a full-time load to graduate per NCAA rule), have passed 24 hours per year, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 OR not be on probation or suspension and have seasons of competition remaining.
