WTEN: Berg falls in opener at Albion

ALBION, Michigan -- In their first match of 2018, the Heidelberg University women's tennis team fell at Albion College, 7-2.

With a roster full of youth, freshmen Esmerelda Rios and Aline Rojas won in first singles, 8-6.

Sophomore Jillian Goulet provided the lone singles win for the Student Princes at third singles in a tiebreaker. Goulet edged out Albion's Christina Rafiall 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6).

Heidelberg will be back in action over their spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina. Match time on Mar. 4 against DeSales is still to be determined.
