Women's tennis wins third straight

TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University women's tennis team won its third straight match on Saturday afternoon, defeating Muskingum University 9-0.

Markilynn Hogle and Nikki Millar won the first doubles match by a score of 8-1. Allie Gales and Gabi Osterman followed with an 8-3 win. With a score of 8-0, Jillian Goulet and Summer Hunter-Kysor capped off the doubles wins for the Berg.

HU kept its momentum heading into singles play. Hogle won her match, 8-2, while Millar won hers, 6-1, 6-0.

Gales followed with a 6-1, 6-2 victory and Goulet added a 6-1, 6-0 win. Hunter-Kysor and Mallory Paul both won their matches by scores of 6-0, 6-0.

The team will travel to Baldwin Wallace on Tuesday afternoon for an OAC matchup. Match time is slated for 3:30 p.m.
