AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Just one week after Wes Fritz took home OAC Field Athlete of the Week honors, Dan Stoll stepped up on the track to earn OAC Track Athlete of the Week honors.

The Heidelberg University junior, three-time All-OAC recipient a year ago in indoor track, Stoll earned the weekly honor after his performance at the Tiffin University Dragon Open on Friday evening. The squad was running one day earlier than originally scheduled due to winter weather causing difficulties in travel on Saturday.

In his first run of the evening, Stoll clocked a time of 22.58 in the 200m dash. The run was good for second place overall, just .04 seconds off of first place. The time of 22.58 seconds is believed to be a new indoor record for the Student Princes' men's track team.

Stoll also put in a great showing in the 400m dash with a fourth overall finish in 51.88 seconds. He was the top Division III performer in the event.

Much like Fritz's honor last week, this athlete of the week selection is Stoll's first career award.
