Tennis teams fall at Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Heidelberg University men's and women's tennis teams were back in action Saturday afternoon against Trine University. The women's team dropped a 5-4 match while the men's side fell 9-0.

Markilynn Hogle and Nikki Millar picked up an 8-3 win in doubles.

Hogle, Millar, and freshman Summer Hunter-Kysor all tallied singles wins for the Berg. Hogle won her match 6-7, 6-1 (10-2). Millar won 6-2, 6-4 and Hunter-Kysor won a tiebreaker match 5-7, 7-5 (10-7).

Trine carried all of the momentum on the men's side, sweeping HU.

The men's team hosts Mount St. Joseph on Thursday for a 4 p.m. match. The women are idle until Apr. 1 when they open conference play against Mount Union.
