I chose to attend Heidelberg because:
I fell in love with the professors and coaches I met. I felt that I could be challenged on this campus, both physically as an athlete and mentally as a student.
The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is:
the sense of family that comes within the team. It is also the best form of stress relief from the daily work of being a college student.
Heidelberg is unique because:
it offers so many different opportunities to its students.
My career goal:
is to become a public defender after attending law school.
While at Heidelberg:
I was able to
study abroad for a semester in Byderabad, India, and taught as a T.A. for a month in Tianjin, China. I also participated in the Washington Semester Program at American University, which included interning on Capitol Hill, and was a social justice intern in Mississippi and a Harvard Summer Democracy Fellow.
