LOUISVILLE, Kentucky -- Heidelberg University Softball player Gabbie Stallbaum picked up another honor on Friday. She was named a first team all-region honoree by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association -- becoming only the second two-time first team selection in program history.

Stallbaum's success in 2025 is well documented throughout the program's single-season records: tied for first in homers (12) ... tied for first in walks (28) ... second in runs scored (46) ... tied for second in RBI (49) ... top 10 in doubles (13) and triples (4). She was named OAC Co-Player of the Year and a first team all-conference honoree.

The sensational senior season capped off a stellar career, which is also well documented: first in home runs (31) ... first in walks (97) ... second in RBI (127) ... second in slugging (.726) ... tied for second in doubles (46) ... top 10 in at bats (453), hits (174), triples (8) and batting average (.384). She was a three-time All-OAC selection.

Stallbaum joins Mikaela Mitsch (2015, 2016) as HU's only two-time First Team All-Region honoree. Mitsch, an All-American in 2016, earned NFCA All-Region honors in each of her four seasons.

The NFCA will announce the All-America teams on May 28.
