TIFFIN -- On Senior Day, the Heidelberg University Volleyball team fell to visiting Muskingum in four sets -- 22-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-22. Prior to the contest, the Student Princes honored five seniors,
Grace Dohanyos, Rylee Rtizhaupt,
Gabby Wolfe,
Kaitlyn Uffman, and
Riley Tople.
Heidelberg slipped to 15-13 overall, 3-3 in the OAC. Muskingum improved to 16-9, 4-2.
Wolfe and Uffman finished with 10 kills each, with Uffman contributing on five blocks.
Olivia Miller had 21 assists while
Maddie Reed had 15.
Defensively, Dohanyos had 32 digs and set a new single-season mark for herself. On the year, she has notched 568 with two games left in the regular season.
Prior to the match, Tople -- who missed the season due to an injury -- offered up a ceremonial first serve.
With the conference tournament drawing closer, Heidelberg hosts Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday in a critical midweek matchup. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Seiberling Gymnasium.
