ADA, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University Men's Wrestling team went 1-2 at the OAC Quad Duals, hosted by Ohio Northern on Saturday. Owen Frizzell paced the team with three wins.

Heidelberg dropped duals to Ohio Northern and Otterbein, but wedged a victory over Wilmington in between.

Against the Cardinals, Colin Hering won by forfeit -- but HU was winless until Anthony Grecol earned a technical fall at 165, Frizzell grabbed a pin at 184 and Khelei Tillman earned an overtime win at 197. The Cardinals, however, won six bouts en route to the 25-20 win.

Hering earned six points at 125 against Wilmington, but the Quakers answered with six of their own. Josh Gibson and Drew Miller powered past their opponents, grabbing tech falls at 141 and 149. Grecol added another tech at 165 before Travis Richardson, Frizzell and Tillman reeled off three straight pins. HU won the dual, 39-16.

HU capped the day with a 40-12 loss to the hosts. Cole Reneir took a forfeit win at 133, Claude Buckmaster won 5-0 at 157, and Frizzell won 10-3 at 184.

Heidelberg finished 2-5 in OAC action for the season.
