BEXLEY, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University Men's Basketball team kicked off Ohio Athletic Conference action with a mammoth 100-75 win at Capital University. Hitting triple-digits against Capital for the first time in school history, Heidelberg was propelled by a career high 27-point performance from 
Elijah Harden.  
Heidelberg moved to 4-3, 1-0 on the campaign. The Comets slid to 3-4, 0-1. 
The Student Princes shot the ball well all night, shooting 54.0% from the floor and 56.3% (9-for-16) from beyond the arc. At the line, Heidelberg was a blistering 23-for-24.  
Kevin Reynald Jr. had 17 points off the bench, while 
Zane Leitwein had 16 points and 
Markell Johnson-Nichols had 11.  
Heidelberg led 51-39 at halftime and built a 35-point lead in the second half.  
The Student Princes hit the 100-point plateau for the first time in an OAC game since beating Wilmington 103-101 on Jan. 21, 2017. Heidelberg's previous best performance against Capital came in a 96-91 win in Bexley on Jan. 22, 2020. 
The 'Berg are back in action Saturday, Dec. 7th at home versus Muskingum. Tipoff is slated for 3 p.m.
