ANGOLA, Ind. – The Heidelberg University Wrestling team participated in the Trine Invitational on Saturday. 285-pounder Demitrius Hernandez was The Berg's lone placer, taking sixth.  

Hendandez was one of four to pick up three wins on the long afternoon.  David Gelman was 3-2 at 133 with all three coming via pin. Travis Richardson had two pins and a tech fall, going 3-2 at 157.  Carson Mendoza-Pottenger sampled all parts of the bonus-point buffet at 165. He notched a pin, a tech fall and a major decision, finishing 3-2.  Hernandez had two pins.  

Brenden Yob (125) and Josh Gibson (141) added two wins. 

The 'Berg wrestlers will have little time to prepare for the start of conference action. Baldwin Wallace visits Seiberling Gymnasium on Tuesday evening.  The wrestling, and the annual Mustache Mania festivities, begin at 7 p.m.
