TIFFIN -- Despite controlling a majority of possession through the game, the Heidelberg University women's soccer team could not find the back of the net in a 1-0 loss to John Carroll University.  The Blue Streaks took the lead in the 12th minute, a tally that would be the lone goal in the contest.  

Prior to the game, Heidelberg (0-6-2) honored four seniors -- Lydia Gates, Macy Zachary, Sophie Huber and Kennedy Shreve.  

Heidelberg outshot the Blue Streaks 15-12, though JCU held an edge in shots on goal, 8-7.  

The Student Princes possessed the ball 53% of the time.  

John Carroll's goal came on an impressive shot from distance by Brittany Dufalla that beat Meredith Bruce on the top left side of the net.  

The Student Princes wrap up the season at Muskingum on Sunday.  The match is slated for a 2 p.m. start.
