BEXLEY -- The Heidelberg University men's lacrosse team was beaten on the road by Capital University with a score of 17-4 on Wednesday evening. Senior
Liam Weaver scored all four goals for The Berg in the second half of play.
Heidelberg drops to 0-9 while the Crusaders improve to 6-4.
Weaver scored two unassisted goals in the third quarter, which were the only goals of the frame. He then struck again with two late in the fourth quarter, both assisted by
Michael Stiemly.
Alex Bruder collected nine saves in his first outing in goal this season.
The Student Princes were out-shot 49-25. Weaver led the way for The Berg with 15 shots. Capital also led in ground balls 20-15.
The Student Princes will be on the road again on Saturday as they head to Marietta for a 1 p.m. contest against the Pioneers.
