Box Score

ALLIANCE -- The Heidelberg University women's soccer team was defeated at Mount Union on Saturday evening, 6-0. The game was played in a miserable wind and rain, which did not help matters.

Mount Union took an early lead with a goal by Mallory Wahl in the 10th minute. Danielle Rohrman added a goal in the 28th minute. Cortni Arp scored twice in a four-minute span to give the Purple Raiders a 4-0 lead at the break.

The hosts would add two more in a seven-minute stretch midway through the second half.

The Student Princes recorded four shots in the loss. Erica Campbell and Bekah Thomas both had one shot on goal.

Goalkeeper Alexandra Farmer made three saves in 77 minutes. Hailey Taylor made her varsity debut in goal, stopping the only shot she faced.

The Berg hits the road again on Wednesday, as they visit John Carroll. Gametime with the Blue Streaks is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
