TIFFIN -- The recent struggles for the Heidelberg University men's soccer team continued on Saturday, as the Student Princes fell to Otterbein University,3-0.

The Student Princes, ranked No. 8 by the United Soccer Coaches, fell to 9-2-1, 2-2-1 in the OAC. First-place Otterbein improved to 11-2 overall, 5-0 in the conference.

Otterbein's Nate Norris did the damage for the Cardinals in a first-half frenzy -- recording a hat trick in a six-minute span. Two of his goals came off of HU turnovers in the defensive third, and the other coming off a corner kick.

Content with a three-goal advantage, Otterbein dialed back the intensity and neither team scored a goal in the second half.

Jake Kress made five saves in the loss.  

0-2-1 and scoreless in their last three outings, the Student Princes will try to right the ship Tuesday at Baldwin Wallace (4-8-2, 0-3-1). Gametime in Berea is slated for 7 p.m.
