Women's soccer falls in double overtime

RICHMOND, Indiana --  The Heidelbeg University women's soccer team dropped a heart-breaking 2-1 match in double overtime at Earlham on Saturday. 

Earlham (3-3-1) struck first on a Micaela Bush goal in the 21st minute. 

Heidelberg (1-5-1) drew level with Hannah Gregoire's first goal of the season.  The equalizer, off a pass from Christina Neal, came in the 74th minute.

The Student Princes outshot Earlham 10-0 in the second half

After a scoreless first overtime, Earlham's golden goal by Cherrah Barclay came in the 123rd minute. 

Kenzie Lundqvist had three saves in goal for Heidelberg. 

Kristen Keenan led The Berg, firing a barrage of seven shots on goal. 

Heidelberg returns to the pitch on Wednesday at Mt. St. Joseph.  The match is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. start.
