TIFFIN, Ohio - The Heidelberg men hosted the Blue Streaks of John Carroll University on a chilly night at Mayer Field. Three second half goals sent the Blue Streaks to a 4-0 victory in the Berg's final home game of the 2013 season.

The Blue Streaks jumped out early in the 15th minute when Brian Potocnik netted his 11th goal of the season. The Berg kept the powerful John Carroll offense at bay for the remainder of the first half, while sharing a shot total of eight.

In the second half, the Blue Streaks scored three goals in 16 minutes to send the Berg to 10-6-0 overall and an even 4-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

The John Carroll defense played tenaciously against the Berg, holding them to nine total shots. Offensively, the Student Princes were led by Ryan Homoki and Greg Raimondo's two shots.

The Berg men will travel to Alliance, Ohio and the University of Mount Union to battle the Pruplre Raiders in their final OAC matchup. Kickoff from Alliance is slated for 1:00 p.m.
