Career Synopsis

  • The 2023-24 season is Harvey's sixth at Heidelberg as a part of the men's basketball program
  • Interned with the Dallas Mavericks and coached at Saint John's Jesuit High School in Toledo

2022-23

  • Served as assistant coach for the Student Princes
  • Helped guide The Berg to its first 19-win season since 2008
  • Mentored three All-OAC honorees

2021-22

  • Assisted the men's basketball team to a 18-8 (12-5 OAC) record
  • Guided Isaiah Young, Manny Perdue and Dylan Woods to All-OAC honors
  • Mentored seven student-athletes to academic All-OAC recognition 

2020-21

  • Assisted the men's basketball team to a 9-3 (9-2 OAC) record in a shortened season
  • Guided Dylan Woods, Emmanuel Perdue and Alex Arellano to All-OAC honors
  • Led six student-athletes to academic All-OAC recognition

2019-20

  • Assisted the men's basketball program to a 12-15 (9-9 OAC) record
  • Guided Tamal Watkins and Dylan Woods to All-OAC selections
  • Mentored three to Academic All-OAC honors
  • Tennis season was halted due to COVID-19 prior to any spring competitions

2018-19

  • Assisted the men's basketball team to a record of 8-18 (6-12 OAC)
  • Mentored Myron Prewitt to All-Region honors and into the 1,000 point club
  • Helped two athletes earn All-OAC accolades
  • Aided in the Academic All-OAC selection of five basketball and tennis athletes

2017-2018

  • Completed an internship in player development with the Dallas Mavericks
  • Helped to develop and implement skill development workouts for Mavericks players
  • Performed scout team duties
  • Aided Mavericks players and coaches in practice, pregame and post game duties

2015-17

  • Taught mathematics and coached basketball at Saint John's Jesuit High School 
  • Served as head JV coach and assistant varsity coach

2013-14

  • Was a member of the Coast II Coast All-Stars of the ABA
