BEREA, Ohio - Senior Mike Petrie led the Heidelberg University men's basketball with 19-point performance as the Berg men were stung by the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets, 86-67.

Petrie finished with 19 points, four rebounds, two steals and one assist in Berea. In his senior year, Petrie is averaging 13.3 points per game following the loss. He has collected 212 thus far in his final campaign.

Sophomore transfer Deonte Holder followed Petrie's performance with 15 points of his own. Holder also tallied a game-high nine rebounds to send his season total to 51. Holder is currently leading the Student Princes in scoring with 262 total points in 2013-14.

Senior Keith Mackie and junior Cole Williams each finished with 10 points in the loss to the Yellow Jackets. Mackie collected a team-high three assists while Williams shot three of four from the field and three of five from the free throw line.

The Yellow Jackets led the entire contest, taking a 23-point advantage into the locker room at the end of the first half. The Student Princes outscored the Yellow Jackets in the second half, 38-34, but the first half deficit was too much to erase.

BW's Kevin Krakowiak led all scorers with 21-points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Following the loss to Baldwin Wallace, the Heidelberg men move to 5-11 overall.

The Student Princes and first year head coach Andy Bucheit will travel to the 13-3 Mount Union Purple Raiders on Saturday, January 25. The Purple Raiders knocked off Muskingum this evening to move to 8-1 atop the OAC standings.
